Landon Smith is an Actor, Filmmaker, Model and Athlete based in Chicago, IL. His latest works in pre-production are the Independent Film “Lucky” (2019), and the self-produced Short Film “Tribes,” which tells the story of two undercover detectives who define their relationship in the face of human tragedy.

In 2017, Landon co-founded the production company FILM765 LLC. Current projects include the reality based film competition “The Indiana Film Race” currently in post- production/distribution and the aforementioned Short Film “Tribes.”

He competed in the 2018 Chicago Golden Gloves competition and won 5th in the Senior Novice Welter-Weight Division. Acting training includes The Second City Improv program and The Artistic Home Meisner Technique. Prior to Chicago, Landon found success in print work internationally with “Mega Models” in Porto Alegre, Brazil and locally with Heyman Talent in Cincinnati, OH. He is currently represented by Lily’s Talent Chicago, IL.

Indiana Film Race

Indiana Film Race is an production experience made into a competition. Filmmakers creating a story that will they will film in 5 select counties in Indiana. There will be 3 teams, filming in 5 days in those select counties. A race to produce the best short film with a grand prize of $10,000. In association with FILM 765, LLC, we are proud to introduce an original reality based film race that will spotlight three filmmaking teams that will have five days to shoot a short film (10-15 minutes including credits), as they travel through five counties in West Central Indiana. The purpose of this competition is two-fold. The primary goal is to promote movie making in Indiana by exposing our viewers to the incredible destination locations available for film production in Indiana. The second is to showcase film talent to our viewers via a television distribution agreement.
